Spirit Age Divisions & Fees

Every Spirit Player is required to have a Spirit Jersey. 

• Jersey fee for 2018 is TBD (not included in MMSA registration fee).
• Jerseys will be fitted at evaluations and paid for by selecting the "Jersey Required" check box of online registration.  The jersey fee will then be added to your Spirit Registration Fee.
• Jerseys will be ordered shortly after teams have been formed.
• Players who have previously played on a Spirit Team, and have a jersey, can use previous year jersey if it is in good condition and fits properly. Be sure to check jersey for condition and fitting, at beginning of season, before jersey order goes in.  Jerseys are ordered early in the year, for all age divisions, so they arrive in time for tournament season.  If order time is missed, there will be no jersey for that player.

1. All players will have a $25 fundraising fee included in their registration fee for a Softball SK Cash Calendar.  Calendars will be dispersed to players early in the season and can be sold to recoup the $25 fee.  Stubs from calendars will need to be turned in to team managers by mid June to ensure names get added to the draws.
    
2. Spirit players and families will participate in MMSA fundraising by volunteering time to assist with the 222's Fastpitch Shootout (MMSA major fundraiser) scheduled June 15 to June 17, 2018.  This could include volunteering at concession, gate, grounds crew, selling 50/50, announcing, score keeping, etc.
    
3. Other potential fundraising organized by each individual Spirit Team.

The MMSA has included $75.00 in the Spirit registration fee to cover the cost of two regular season tournaments.  This fee is passed directly to the team Treasuer to cover the cost of tournament registration fees that will need to be paid in early February/March.

Any additional tournament fees, required for the season, will be gathered through team fees or team fundraising.

• Tournament Fees for two tournaments during the season
• Team softballs, scorebook, lineup cards, coaching boards, first-aid supplies, and practice/training equipment
• Fundraising Fee (Softball SK Cash Calendar)
• Access to MMSA Open KVC Nights to practice pitching, catching, and hitting (see Events Calendar on MMSA webpage for dates)
• Priority registration into MMSA Off-Season Athlete Training Program.
• MMSA subsidized registration fees for MMSA Off-Season Athlete Training Program
