
The MMSA believes that investing in our athletes, both League and Spirit, is an important part of player development. To continue strengthening our programs, the MMSA will be offering (subsidized for both MMSA League and Spirit members) the following off-season athlete training for the 2018 season that will be instructed by 222's Fastpitch and Harvey Weber.
- Pitcher Training - 222's Fastpitch (Dean Holoien)
- Hitting & Base-running Training - 222's Fastpitch (Keith Mackintosh)
- Catcher Training - 222's Fastpitch (Ryan Ray - "Razor")
- Fielding Training - 222's Fastpitch (Keith Mackintosh)
- Speed & Strength Training - (Harvey Weber)
- Free KVC Gym Nights - Free for MMSA members to attend to practice pitching, catching, and hitting.
Important Registration Information:
A separate registration must be completed for each training event you wish to participate. There are limited training spots available and registration will be provided on a first come, first serve basis until training events are full. Registration will be open for athletes to register based on the following dates:
- July 1st - Registration to training events open to MMSA athletes including both League and Spirit.
- September 1st - Registration to training events opens up to all athletes (non MMSA members) interested in participating in training events.
Refund Policy for MMSA Off-Season Athlete Training:
- Refunds will be issued up to Dec.1, 2017. After this date refunds will not be issued.
- All refunds will be subject to a $15.00 processing fee.
- Scheduled dates may change due to uncontrollable circumstances. In the case of dates being rescheduled, refunds will not be issued if athlete cannot attend.

- 8.25 hrs training (3 x 1.5 hr & 3 x 1.25 hr sessions) divided into two groups: Group 1 (U10 - U12) Group 2 (U14 - U19).
- Instructed by 222's Fastpitch (Elite Training & Instrution): Dean Holoien.
- Maximum 7 participants per group.
- Open to age levels including: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19
- Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
- Pitchers must provide their own catcher for each session, otherwise they will not be allowed to participate.
- Please bring indoor running shoes.
- Ball will be provided.

- 6.5 hrs training (2 x 1.5 hr, 2 x 2.5 hr & 1 x 1 hr sessions) divided into two groups: Group 1 (U10 - U12), Group 2 (U14 - U19).
- Instructed by 222's Fastpitch (Elite Training & Instruction): Keith Mackintosh.
- Maximum 12 participants per group.
- Open to age levels including: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.
- Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
- Hitters must provide their own bat and helmet, otherwise they will not be allowed to participate.
- Please bring indoor running shoes.

- 5.5 hrs training (2 x 1.5 hr & 2 x 1.25 hr sessions).
- Instructed by 222's Fastpitch (Elite Training & Instruction): Ryan Ray (Razor).
- Maximum 10 participants.
- Open to age levels including: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.
- Registration is on a first come first serve basis.
- Catchers must provide their own catching equipment, otherwise they will not be allowed to participate.
- Please bring indoor running shoes.

- 5.5 hrs training (2 x 2 hr & 1 x 1.5 hr sessions).

- Maximum 18 participants.
- Open to age levels including: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.
- Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

- 9 hrs training (6 x 1.5 hr sessions).
- Instructed by Harvey Weber.
- Maximum participants: Unlimited
- Open to age levels including: U10, U12, U14, U16, U19.
- Registration is open to all athletes wanting to attend
- Athletes are to bring indoor running shoes.

- Free KVC gym time for pitchers, catchers and hitters to practice during the off-season available for MMSA members.
